Space Hitler's Zombie Application

Steam Name: Space Hitler
Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:67784512

Rp Experience:I've played on quite a few Gmod Serious RP servers. I feel as though my skills whilst good for disposable characters fall flat when placed in a character with actual weight and importance.
How did you stumble upon our server?: I'm a simple man, I see a serious zombie apocalypse RP server I click. Seriously however I found it on the gmod server browser whilst hunting for a serious rp server fitting this theme.

Character Type/name: Changes upon death.

Character Sex: Changes upon death

Character Age: Changes upon death

Occupation (Current or Before):Unemployed/Hobo unless admins request otherwise

Character Equipment: Determined by administrators.

Moral Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Strengths: Resistant to otherwise lethal wounds, vector of the infection.

Weaknesses: Slow, little to no dexterity, basically a robot responding to input, and predetermined wounds weakening combat effectiveness (Missing limbs, no teeth, and lack of certain senses.)

Character Concept(Backstory):

So rather than give you the life before the demise of a single survivor, I'll explain what my intent for creating this application even is. Zombie characters in Gmod Serious RP servers are rare, and out of every 20 something or so applications you'll find at least one of these. Each one often creates a single zombie as a "Jump off point" this zombie, and it's backstory rarely ever plays into RP excluding its first death. Even then if it did they are often placed under NLR in most cases, and you have the same zombie showing up over and over. Now I don't mean you should simply remove the character as soon as they bite it just have them change their description give then an actual NEW LIFE or unlife in this case. Now I understand that the backstory is more to determine if you can actually write properly so requesting me to write a simple backstory for a single zombie is fine. Even if I do however hopefully I've somewhat convinced you that Zombie characters are just there as something to be a common threat for the players to fight. Rather than an actual character.

Hey guys I've noticed you have the NPC toolset. It would be very convenient if I could use the notarget tool in order to make zombies ignore me. If you're unwilling to trust me with a toolgun, which I understand since a toolgun is dangerous as hell, I'll just manage without it or ask admins to just notarget me themselves.

On another note thanks for the support guys the current map we're running seems to be great for RPing a zombie. Since it's got so many nooks crannies and passageways to spook the shit out of people in. Also if you ever need a zombie or something for an event, if I were to be online, it would be 100% fine with being just teleported in.

We have it, sure, but uh.....as far as the admin team has discovered it doesn't really work too well. Sometimes, the zombies will ignore you, other times they'll go gung ho. And if there's NPCs around and you're facing a player, sometimes their attacks will just clip you too.

That doesn't mean you can't try. We also have notarget as part of our admin tools we can toggle on anyone we want. Buuuuuuuut, it's proven to be finnicky.

Condoms and other contraceptives can be finnicky, and just about anything humanity has made can be as such. If you have a way to have the game attempt to force notarget it's better than rideing it bareback so to speak. Either wat I prefer to keep rp away from zombie npcs since they /love/ interrupting it, so it would only need to work part of the time.

So I'm confused by this. I understand you're saying you don't need a backstory for a zombie, which is fine I agree with that.

Before we approve this, please can you explain this line a bit better.

Is this in reference to the zombie biting people, and when they are bitten they to become an infected player?

And I'd like to confirm that as a common infected you're aware it's Play to lose with them. Obviously there's situations where they can ruin someone, but they are just shamblers so without a pack they are not as dangerous.
