  4. Just a little bit of an FYI so your char sheet is more accurate.. As your character is in the United States Army his MOS wouldn't be 0311. 0311 is the United States Marine Corps MOS for Rifleman. Perhaps your character was a machine gunner in the Marine Corps as my character portrays; your character's MOS would b e 0331 instead. If your character was a machine gunner in the Army he would have to be 11B (called Eleven Bravo) which is the U.S. Army MOS for rifleman; to become a machine gunner you'd have to go through a selection process. One of the requirements is that you're at least a Private First Class who has held the 11B MOS for four months, give or take. Also, the 36th Infantry Division, 3rd Battalion, 144th Infantry, is apart of the United States National Guard (Texas based). If you're trying to portray a soldier in the National Guard based out of Texas that would be accurate although ending up in the State that we're in.. Not so much. But if instead you meant to portray an Infantry division in the U.S. Army you could always change the 144th to the 143rd Infantry Regiment, although keep in mind you may need to keep it in the back of your mind your character would have to have Airborne training as the 143rd Infantry Regiment is indeed an Airborne Infantry regiment. Anyways, if you have any questions about any branch of the military or if you have any inquiries about another country's military feel free to send me a PM! - Druz

He just about never left Baton Rouge, Louisiana as small local jobs and school held him down. Sometime after he turned 17 he went to the local recruiting office to enlist; he didn't have a specific branch in mind but one of which intrigued him the most. Shortly he went to the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) in New Orleans. As he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps from an office to the right of the Mississippi River he was sent off to Parris Island. Thirteen weeks later he graduated with Platoon 272 in the year 1970 on the 9th of September. As he was a Squad Leader of his platoon he was promoted to Private First Class upon leaving Boot Camp, as well as the other Squad Leaders, Scribe, and Guide. He also graduated with the National Defense Service Medal as he joined a branch of the United States Military during the time of war, and he also earned a Rifle Sharpshooter badge whilst in Boot Camp. He was transported back to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to visit with his family as he was placed on one week of leave before going to Infantry School. Due to his decent size height and moderate weight at the time he was selected for the Military Occupational Specialty (MOS), 0331 (Machine Gunner). Upon passing Infantry School he was almost immediately sent off to Vietnam. One of the main operations he participated in was, Operation Lam Son 719, when the South Vietnamese attempted to disrupt the Ho Chi Minh Trail but began to withdraw upon taking massive causalities. In Vietnam, Matt, loved it and hated it; he made a lot of great friends and lost a few. Undoubtedly he fought hard and to the best of his ability during the last 5 years of the war. In 1982, Matt, had reenlisted three times prior in four year blocks. At this time, Matt, decided he would return to the civilian world; due to, Matt, having a proficiency and conduct rating between 3.0/4.0 he was able to be released with an Honorable Discharge. At the age of 32 in 1985, Matt, had his first and only marriage that would only last four years, the love ran dry so him and his partner decided to part ways in 1989. Matt never had anything more than a High School education so the jobs that he held weren't always the best paying, and when he split with his wife he was working at a laundromat. Sometime in 1991 the laundromat closed down so he did a few odd jobs here and there but he all together stopped paying rent where he was staying because he rather have the little bit of money earned then not have it at all. He was then booted out after missing his rent payments, so he hit the streets for a little bit while living in his 1973 Chevy 3/4 Ton Pickup. Half a tank later he ended up selling the truck for a decent sum of cash to help him out as he roamed the United States doing low paying jobs in his battle fatigues. 7. [align=center]Nyla Naomi [glow=red]-- Deceased --[/glow] [glow=red]Overall Summary[/glow] Nyla is a fairly young girl who was born in Burbank, California. She is somewhat well rounded but very complicated. Her opinions of touchy subjects are very strong and she'd probably argue about them until she ceased to exist. Generally she is super hard to talk to unless you crack her and become friends with her. Her two biggest pet peeves are conformists and making eye contact; one of which she just hates and the other one just makes her feel awkward, as if the other person is starring into her soul especially if she doesn't know the person all that well.. Though none of this matters anymore as someone dug out the center of her chest, penetrating her lungs before leaving her stare into the clouds before taking her final breath. Her last moments would be spent rushing through memories with misty eyes as they played over and over again in her mind all whilst choking on a bit of blood in her mouth, causing a thick mixture of blood/saliva to run out of the edge of her mouth. She could only hope that someone might of found her near hidden body so she could be properly buried. [glow=red]People[/glow] |Really Likes| Ethan Fogg: "I never really got the chance to tell you how I felt about you sooner; I want to say I love you, but I've never been able to experience that. I hope in another life you could forgive me for this."[/align]
