HereticsEnd 2 Posted July 11, 2017 (edited) Steam Name: HereticsEnd Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:38035471 Steam Profile Link: Boop Rp Experience: Lots. You know god damn well. How did you stumble upon our server?: I tripped on a rock, fell down a very deep hole and ended up at the doorstep of this place. Character Name: Kyle O'Malley Character Sex: Male. Character Age: 28 Character Equipment: Walther PPQ, Custom Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Moral Alignment(See Chart below this post): Lawful Neutral Strengths: Familiarity with a multitude of weapons platforms, well rounded physical conditioning, very perceptive. Weaknesses: Sarcastic, Perfectionist (In most cases can make things take longer than need be), Paranoid, Tongue-Tied outside of work space, Walks with a subtle limp (And sometimes a cane) when not taking medication. Character Backstory a.k.a. how or why are you here (One paragraph minimum, be creative! More backstory does not always mean a better app! Put thought into how they'll interact with others too!): Kyle O'Malley is American born and bred, raised by his father from birth and his step-father at the age of 3. Yes, his parents were gay. His first home was in that of Monroe, Georgia; a city about 40 miles outside of Atlanta. Passing through Elementary, Middle and High School without much of a problem academically, Kyle was more of the outsider type. He kept to himself in classrooms and didn't really develop many friends until the latter years of his tenure at Monroe Area High School. After graduating from school, family demands required that they moved to Houston, Texas. Kyle found a temporary job as a cashier at the local market, filling the void of having absolutely nothing to do and practicing with his non-existent skills as a people-person. Of all the customers that came through, it would be a Coast Guard Chief Petty Officer that would seem to frequent Kyle's line more than the others that were available. The CPO recommended Kyle to a local recruiting station and gave him the contact information to the recruiter. Being a young age and having nothing better to do with his life, Kyle soon enough paid a visit to the recruiter and sold his soul away to the United States military. A month of preparation flew by quicker than expected and Kyle was off on a plane and bus to Cape May, New Jersey. Following the 'intense' eight weeks of basic training, Kyle went into 'A' School for his training as a Gunners Mate. There he learned about the assembly, disassembly and/or preparation of everything from a .40 caliber pistol to a .76mm Gun Mount on a Coast Guard Cutter. Also included, much like a Maritime Enforcement Specialist (ME), was the training in ship boarding and interdiction of maritime loss. To Kyle, it was a fantastic field to be involved in. And involved he was, from the age of 18 until he was 25. He served the Coast Guard for approximately 7 years, being based at numerous ports ranging from Alaska all the way to the southern tip of Puerto Rico. Near the latter part of his 8th and final year, Kyle was involved with a boarding action on-board a Defender-Class boat and a suspected smuggling vessel. Upon stepping off of the Defender, Kyle slipped due to a large wake from a passing boat, his leg dangling off the side of the Defender. Before he could get back up, the two vessels collided into one another, pinning and severely injuring Kyle's leg in the process. His Tibia and Fibula fractured, rendering him incapacitated for the mission. After some time, Kyle was medically discharged from the United States Coast Guard. After his time in the Coast Guard, Kyle moved to Dallas, Texas. Placing out multiple applications for various departments, he eventually settled as a gunstore owner in this Dallas area. Here he filed the paperwork needed with the city and differing gun manufacturers to set up his own place. Edited July 11, 2017 by Guest
HereticsEnd 2 Posted July 11, 2017 I meant to incorporate this, but I had completely forgotten by the time it was supposed to be put in. On the 7th year in the CG, Kyle was involved in an incident where he severely injured his right leg in a boarding action. He slipped on the side of a boat and the sides of each boat collided into one another, trapping and injuring his leg in the process. Medically discharged. EDIT: That's the reason for the limp. EDIT: Backstory changed in lieu of this.
