If that's the case and the pistol is meant to have been found and looted, I will give +support with the caveat that you have the firearm and no ammunition, and I am operating on the assumption that this Romanian surgeon doesn't actually have a history with firearms and you'd need to RP not being a sureshot. I'm personally okay with this app, with a minor edit; this man instead is studying to be an active officer, but by all accounts isn't one yet because of tests/licensing/whatever. Mall cop is fine by me, it really holds no power and knowing plenty of the sort irl, the most they can do in a situation is say "no," call real cops, and keep others away from potential danger. But, if he is capable of being an actual officer, I will have to say Denied as we are full on law enforcement. If other admins agree with my alternate proposition, then instead I will give you support on this app.

I like the idea honestly, disabled apps are cool, but imo we're reaching the limit of prior military service. This gentleman could have just as easily lost his arm due to a disease complication, be old and have poor eyesight, and I wouldn't think it would require an app. If the admins decide similarly, I suggest (if you want a similarly disabled old character) to do something along those lines. With that said, from me it is a no. But, I will vouch you are a good roleplayer.

I personally think the backstory of the reason for army pilot seems a bit forced, as Hyane mentoned (he's at work as of my typing), you could easily jsut go for flying lessons as a civilian. As it stands, we also have alot of people with prior service, and I want the focus to be on relatively normaly people. We aren't on the Marine base in San Angelo, we're in Dallas. So currently I'm going to say nah. Maybe I'll be outvoted though.

I see no reason in the backstory for the aforementioned weapons. I understand learning to shoot because we're in Texas and you were on a farm, but I don't think I got a full explanation for the reason she is carrying both a pistol and fireaxe. That aside, I give my Support. However, in order to get full approval (by me) you will have to address what I said above.

I understand that you may not be American and I'm not in criticism of that, but what I will say is based on the feedback here, I will not be able to accept the request. Denied. PTSD or no, the chupacabra idea may be interesting certainly, but it is silly. And whether you are trying to or not, it does seem very much as a power grab, especially if they're designed specifically to play post-outbreak. I have no issues with people getting equipment but all of this in addition to the others that are hunting are what determined my answer. That doesn't mean you can't make another or simply go in with a casual civilian. By all means, I encourage people to experiment.

Well I haven't seen you RP, in fault by me not being present when you're on the server or because you haven't really yet. In any case, a doctor would be cool, specifically a surgeon. Not too sure how I feel on the foreign background...it seems to me he is Romanian because you simply want to RP a Romanian. That being said, I don't feel comfortable giving an answer without seeing you RP. However, I will say, you having a pistol doesn't make sense to me if you are coming from Romania to Houston for a convention. It leaves no space to get it registered, have a license, etc. And I'm assuming all the materials are for your entire clinical use, not simply on your person (because that's aton to jsut walk around with). Either way, I'd like to say what other are going to say.

After re-reading and taking time to let it sit, I'm NEUTRAL. I'd say with all this feedback, it's safe to sit back and RP or a bit before we revisit this

I am giving -support for two primary reasons: The background is a bit silly with the chupacabra ptsd thing (and also guns over education), but primarily because of an influx of hunters and 'VIP' people. I'd much rather like to see a more normal person pov from people for now, since right now everyone is trying to strong arm having a leg up once things start, and we are trying to focus on joe schmo trying to get through

I still offer my support, but I neglected to see you wanted aa mossberg in addition to a sidearm. My personal preference is one or the other, just putting it out there so if other admins think its fine you can ignore me :P

We actually are supposed to have Atmos but we took it off the last map from last server so we forgot to re-add it in :P Don't worry, it's on the list.

I was a bit confused when this was originally explained to me (I wasn't around for a short time today) but now I have a better picture of it. +support from me and +support for knowing how to properly introduce the idea of a character originally from another country.

We're had a rough start I believe, but it was definitely a great soft launch! Moving forward, we're going to add a little more to the content, so make sure that's up to date! As a side effect of an admin decision, we are going to be moving to a new map that more likely represents Dallas; more like a city. Currently, it is more like a city block mostly in a forest. We will reserve this map for perhaps a later date. Coming with this, is the newer working NutScript that Blacktea is fixing alongside our bugfinds and many, many dedicated coders. They are working literally around the clock, so fixes happen pretty quickly. AND along with this, comes an update to how PAC3 works both in NS's netcode, and PAC3's Git Release, which works way better than the older, workshop version. Sorry for any inconveniences, but this should resolve most, if not all current issues. Topping this cake, is the script delivery which should hopefully be in our hands latest by tomorrow. Moderately certain everyone was just joking around with the support thing on the bio page. The reason it was done is probably because it's a swordfighting butler with a huge mustache and that's sorta silly. There's nothing here that would require an app, though. A swordfighting hobby is only a hobby, and the idea of a butler is cool. So long as you keep things under wraps and not too silly, you're fine. If it does get too silly, then something will prob need to be done. APPROVED (even though it didn't really need to be)

+support for all but why a hunter will be in dallas, but im sure you can work that out. The character has a reason to have the weapon, has a good backstory, and most of all isn't superman and has drawbacks. That is the kind of stuff I like to see.

We openly stated in the rules no active military characters. Aside from that, I would be willing to consider some civilian service help towards any forces, but you need to provide answers to the questions that other admins ask. Legion wanted a bit more info but instead of providing it you instead offered an alternative. Which is fine, but I think it would also help to offer those answers so the team can see where you're coming from.

I give my support for this, but I will advise you to know we're not doing any high rank officers. Admin team agreed on this before the server launched. We're trying for a push of civilian life instead of militarymen, which is why I like how you described you'd play as a cop.
