  1. We'll keep chugging along how we've been unless we've no reason not to. People have ARs and BRs, rifles and shottys. I just don't want everyone having them
  2. Starting new thread in a spot where it makes sense. Response: That's not the situation we want people placed in, and people are still getting better things as it goes on. RPing sniper fire is impossible for people that aren't admins on a large map. Where's the trajectory of the bullet? Sound from where? Also, you can't see PACs in scopes. There's a whole lot of reasons I never explained why it's complicated, but it is.
  3. I'll be cool with a shotgun, since it was in your story your grandfather's this leads to some interesting weapon choices; It would be cool with you obtaining an Ithaca because of this, which would be neat since you won't see many of those around anymore. As far as calling everything into question, sorry for stirring the pot it's just my job. People can post TVTropes links all day but in the end half my life revolves around deciding character salignment whether it be on server or in d&d games, and no matter what type of evil it is, evil is evil and is always a red flag for me. But, I'm glad this was cleared up. So, with the shift from rifle to shotgun, I'll be tossing in my +support; I'm interested to see what a person who has no basic firearms skill does with their weapon when they want to/need to use it -- especially around Texans.
  4. I'm going to stay neutral for now. If I were to go into detail, I'm leaning towards negative -- not because of the app particularly or the RP, but because of the finesse it takes to RP a rifle bandit; and that aside, there already is one about. I don't want to create firearm inflation either, and I think the ultimate demise this character would eventually meet will tip the scale a little too far. But this is all just my opinion.
  5. The throne hunting is over perhaps but your presence is everlasting
  6. +accepted with my +support.
  7. I've been waiting patiently for your return from the corner into the dancefloor :)
  8. I don't wanna be that guy (but I'm gonna be that guy); it's a super neat character idea but I'm interested in what other training this character has? Just to sate my curiosity and to solidify my understanding of how it could possibly be RP'd.
  9. +approved for the pistol + ammunitions. If the admins decide on the rifle you'll get that too but we'll discuss it on the backend.
  10. I'm cool with it up until the military stuff in Kansas city. Trusting random civilian (even ex-mil) seems really weird, especially when they put you up in front. You'd think they'd want trusted people in that location. That aside, so long as this character doesn't pull a "yeah before the zombies came this is how kansas city was and there were fema camps and evacs and stuff" then I'm good with it..
  11. I know you kinda tried to back yourself up at the end there, but 'build another map' probably, most likely, will not be an option. I think there is a gross under exaggeration of either how much money we have, how much money this map will cost, or how much people are willing to donate. By all means, if we can, sure! But I don't forsee us being able to just...make a grocery list of maps.
  12. I wont let this die when it was friday the 13th ">[bbvideo=560,315] [/bbvideo] 'slike 80s, because, yknow, jason and things
  13. Yes, this was mentioned. i understand you don't necessarily know this, but my background is in game design. I have a pretty thorough understanding of the timeframe it would realistically take, accounting for the size, accessibility, and bells and whistles we'd want. And also the fact that hammer is more than a decade old and horrible to work with. And that's just me; but i'm relatively sure most of my partners in the admin team are aware of the lengths of time such things will take.
  14. >Obligatory "For just pennies a day" comment, where I remind you any amount would help if you're interested (even though we don't yet have a channel open for such donations). Money talks aside though, this is also a place for general discussion about what you really like in what maps. Feel free to pull aspects/screenshots/ideas from other past favorites of yours and bring them to our attention. It's entirely possible we don't know what we're missing out on, and much of the discussion with having a map created is reference from existing material.
  15. +approved dont play it too often.
  16. I mirror zerg here for the same reasons; neutral for me
  17. #0. The Dallas City survivors. While an entity moreso than a singular person, these are the bread and butter, the meat and potatoes, the cream of the crop; otherwise known as people that were around when it started. They have started to dwindle in number, either due to [[TOP 10 ANIME BETRAYALS: DONALD vs. ETHAN]], falling victim to the undead, or plain and simple walking out. However, this aspect, some may say, makes their remaining bonds even stronger, and although none are without their faults, it makes the running narrative quite interesting with how the Texans interact with the rest of the survivors they encounter along the way.
  18. I really liked that, actually. Know when it originally came out? How about instrumental/rock opera for a shift of gears, friends? ">[bbvideo=560,315] [/bbvideo]
  19. BUH DA DA DA DA TSS headbang TSS headbang I wouldn't particularly say I'd choose to listen to this in my freetime, but if I saw it live it'd be something I could just idly enjoy --> Time for some mofukin black metal ">[bbvideo=560,315] [/bbvideo]
  20. I know im semi-breaking rules here, but I just need to say: "What to call this" ? Terrifying. Downright goddamn terrifying. If you've ever seen them live, or known anyone to see them live, if you like what they do, the music is awesome, but being at the show is fucking terrifying If you aren't above 6'2" or 150 lbs
  21. I really love that one song specifically from the Dead South, and that's it (unfortunately). Old time actual country is way better than current generation pop-country ">[bbvideo=560,315] [/bbvideo] Hip-hop/rap
  22. mr smile no mr smile pls mr smile too much slavsquat
